CLEAN WATER CRISIS

Apr 12, 2019 by bpsrajesh

Hi guys,

Now days, there is a big issue of water crisis in the World. India is also troubled by this issue. All world is trying to save water. Do you know the power of the water? Many lines are written on water, like "if you waste the water, the water will waste you by thrust". Water is more is more precious than money. Many of  you & us spend bundles of money for buying big showers, bathing tubs, pools, etc. why we shouldn't buy products for saving water  like rain water harvester, water filters. Do you know amount of water used in daily uses? A simple bucket can hold about  13.5 liters  of water and the shower uses 65.1 liters of water if bathed for 8 min and bathing tub uses 132.489 liters to 189.271 liters & minimum sized pool uses 68137.412 liters of water. In India to bring water, people from rural areas waste about 3-5 hours in their work. Dirty and no water are the cause of  diarrhea and death. Our school keeps some waste water of drinkable water and gives 25 bowls of  water to birds and waste water is cleaned. I just want to say to don't waste water, try to save it that much you can. In India in some places there is flood and in some drought.

A video for the support:

Our Indian government is doing what they can do. They have made namami gange [NMCG]  to clean ganga river. they have used  Rs.20,000 Crore. They have created many missions like creating sewerage treatment capacity, creating river-front development, river surface cleaning,bio-diversity conservation, afforestation, public awareness, industrial effluent monitoring, ganga gram.

There are some tips for saving water :

  1. Turn off the tap when you brush your teeth – this can save 6 liters of water per minute.
  2. Place a cistern displacement device in your toilet cistern to reduce the volume of water used in each flush. You can get one of these from your water provider.
  3. Take a shorter shower. Showers can use anything between 6 and 45 liters per minute. Consider getting an aerated shower head, which combines water and air, or inserting a regulator in your shower, which puts an upper limit on flow rates.
  4. Always use full loads in your washing machine and dishwasher – this cuts out unnecessary washes in between.
  5. Fix a dripping tap. A dripping tap can waste 15 liters of water a day, or 5,500 liters of water a year.
  6. Install a water butt to your drainpipe and use it to water your plants, clean your car and wash your windows. A water butt can collect around 5,000 liters a year.
  7. Water your garden with a watering can rather than a hosepipe. A hosepipe can use as much as 1,000 liters of water an hour. Mulching your plants (with bark chippings, heavy compost or straw) and watering in the early morning and late afternoon will reduce evaporation and also save water.
  8. Fill a jug with tap water and place this in your fridge. This will mean you do not have to leave the cold tap running for the water to run cold before you fill your glass.
  9. Install a water meter. When you're paying your utility provider for exactly how much water you use, laid out in an itemized bill, there's an incentive to waste less of the stuff.
  10. Invest in water-efficient goods when you need to replace household products. You can now get water-efficient shower-heads, taps, toilets, washing machines, dishwashers and many other water-saving products.

let's save water as much we can save.
