Refugees YES - But how long can Germany keep its doors open?

Nov 17, 2015 by Niklas

I have got an ambivalent opinion in kind of german refugees policy. On the one hand I am in the same opinion with the german government. Germany is the engine in the European Union and has to be a model in this difficult time. They should convince other countries to accept more refugees. In Germany there is many public and social support and they do their best to improve the refugees life. They transformed f. ex. gymnastic halls into  an emergency accomodation and founded "welcome classes" for the children. Summarized you can say that Germany helps refugees who can not live in their native country and Germany tries to integrate them in their society. If we were in the same position, we would also be thankful if there is a country who opens the borders for everyone.

On the other hand I disagree the german policy. I am in the opinion that Germany can not open the borders for a random time. If there are more and more refugees the process of asylum will take more time and the agencies will be overhelmed. Furthermore more refugees has to be send back in their home country

In my opinion a possible solution is to share the refugees in whole Europe. At the moment there are just too much countries who ignore them and just look to their own problems in their own country.

The situation is not clear at all, I agree. We all need clear guidelines and plans in order to feel safe. I hope our politicians achieve this huge goal of helping and integrating refugees.

Good thinking, but the probleme is still the communication between the EU countries.

PS:

Your opinion affects me peripheral!
