About Me
This is my third year as a teacher at Parkview and I am thankful every day that I teach at a peaceful school with such kind and smart kids. I have taught/coached for 11 years. In the past, I worked with teachers, principals and students to improve literacy scores in targeted intervention schools around Thames Valley. I loved being a Literacy Coach but it was time for me to get back to where I am most happy. Having a classroom again has been amazing!
Everything good happens in twos for me. I have twin sisters, twin boys Carter and Griffyn, and up until recently had two dogs. Macy passed and is dearly missed. Her brother Rooq is now 8. He is our spoiled rotten doberman and he thinks he is a 100 pound lap dog.
My husband Mike and I live at the hockey arena in the winter and ball park in the summer. Our son Carter plays on the 'A' hockey squad and the 'A' baseball team in Oakridge. My better half ( haha!) was a WHL player in his younger years and was the Mt. Brydges Bulldog Junior coach/GM for 6 years. This year he is with the Junior 'B' St. Mary's team and we are the cheering squad for the'Lincolns'.
I hope this gives you a little insight into who I am!
