How much longer can Germany keep its doors open to refugees? Project: The Plight of Refugees

Nov 17, 2015 by Erik

In general I can follow the measures taken by the German government the last months.

Of course we have to look for emergency accommodations and also for appartements or something to live in for long-time-integration. We have to support all refugges in an social way including: education, workforce and social surrounding. I think it is not easy to unit this multi-ethnic grouping, but otherwise we can not send them back; back in their mother country where they have to fight againgst tortute and pursuit.

It is a big and comprehensive logistical challenge and at the moment the progress of an asylum applications requires to much time, but we also have to see the potential in these people. That's why I do not understand the opponents of Germany's refugees policy. Sure it is allowed to demonstrate, but not through radical activities (attack on refugee home in Heidenau, near Dresden).

I like your point of view. And I totally agree with this. But do you have any ideas how we could handle the radical activities?

Yes Michaela, you are right. Spontaneous I can not create  a good way to solve the problems with radical activists. Maybe, we have to take security measures for this institutions. But the problems is that we need safety precautions for the whole life; for a very long time. It is very difficult to find the best way.

Certainly refugees need to be integrated. All the measures you mentioned help immigrants to be part of our society.
