Actually I think it's good that we take refugees in Germany and that they get a chance to learn German.
I'm proud to live in a country that really wants to help a lot of people in need. On the other hand I'm a bit worried:
Currently we have possibility to accomodate the refugees anywhere in the towns, but if the flow of refugees continues and doesn't decrease we have no chance to find a place to live for all these people. Also you lose track about the number of them.
If it's too much for the citizens and Angela Merkel still lets "the doors open" she might lose many votes for herself.
Nobody knows exactly who is coming into our country, who we take in our cities and who we let live here at the country's expense.
Who knows if not even terrorists arrive and pretend to be refugees? Nobody.

Hi Deborah,
I like your critical point of view and I can totally understand your fears. But I think we have to differentiate between terrorists and refugees. But as you mentioned in your blog terrorists have it much easier to come into our country without problems. This is a dangerous situation.
Yous Michaela :)
I am also concerned about the terrorist who could possibly pretend to be a fleeing refugee. In my opinion we have to control all of the passports and try to inform us more about the people who try to get into our country. This is the only way to guarentee safety while this crisis.
Good point that terrorists could use this to sneak into our country, but I think this could happen anyway.
PS:
It's not "Courrently". It should be "Currently" :)
I am in the same opinion, Linius ;) Many critics say that the refugees are bad people and you can't trust them. But the probleme is that f.ex. the media just tells stories where something doesn't function quiet good and this is the basics for the critics. In 99 % refugees are thankful and peaceful people. But the attention of the media gets the one percent who is radical and unpeaceful.
So in the end you can't leave out that there also arrive terrorists.
Yes, but nobody knows that this situation doesn't happen :)
I understand your worries, Deborah, and I also hope our politicians have the situation under control and know who is coming. However, people in real need must be offered help. It's a human right we cannot deny.
